Viawave

Viawave is a trademark owned by the Russian company "Viawave Audio LLC" (Petrozavodsk), which specializes in the design and manufacture of high frequency ribbon tweeters. The founder and the main technical designer is Dmitriy Malinovskiy.

The first tweeter under the Viawave trademark was manufactured in 2014, although the beginning of its history can be considered 2005, when the first pair of ribbon tweeters was made “just to try”, with which it all started ... For a long time, the company was engaged in improving technologies and establishing production, searching for new ways to improve the quality characteristics of tweeters.

The company's way can be briefly described as follows:

2014 - appearing of the first ribbon tweeter Viawave RT850
2017 - the model GRT-145 with sealed gap is realized
2018 - the model GRT-145 got a waveguid - GRT-145W
2018 - "Viawave Audio LLC" gets the Russian patent on its invention of sealed ribbon membrane speaker
2019 - the model SRT-7 is launched
