Fostex F120A

The THD measurements at distance of 315 mm and voltage levels from 4 to 8 Volt were carried out with High Pass Filter "on" (2nd order Buttreworth type, 80 Hz cutoff, HPF2-80).

F120A has the appearance and electro-mechanical parameters very close to its small brother FX120. The differences in the next:

- F120A has closed magnetic circuit based on ALNICO versus open magnetic circuit based on ferrite magnet for FX120

- F120A has more porous foam surround

- the both speakers have membrane of paper but differ with colour and texture

- the retail price of FX120 is around $150  versus $290 for F120A
